- "University of the Algarve wins the national Engineering Competition final" - Diárionline, May 2012. Micael Martins, Artem Yultyyev and I won EBEC Portugal 2012 (European BEST Engineering Competition).
- "UAlg Students compete in the European Engineering Competition Final" - Sul Informação, August 2012. Having won the national round, we were awarded the opportunity to represent Portugal in the European Finals in Zagreb, Croatia.
- "Lisbon's creativity and inventions show" - SIC Notícias, September 2014. Technology TV show about Lisbon's first Maker Faire. Interviewed about our project Tesla Coil at the end, from minute 7.
- "UAlg received 5 distinctions at Lisbon Maker Faire 2015" - Sul Informação, September 2015. At Lisbon Maker Faire 2015 our group received 5 "maker of merit awards" and I received the "Best in Science" category award.

Best paper award on INCREaSE 2017, entitled: "Portable Device for Touch, Taste and Smell Sensations in Augmented Reality Experiences". Co-authors: J. Semião, J. M. Monteiro, J. A. R. Pereira, M.
